the story is a good one

even if it is short

 we’re both a little weird

and we mainly use sporks

our story began

as we sat on the porch

after train, plane, and car

our flames turned to torch 

​

we don’t think like others 

but think quite a bit

about where life will take us

and what comes with it

smiling and waving

at all who we meet

always finding the good 

even when we feel weak 

​
