Gluten Free, Plant Based, No Oil, No Nuts & No Citrus!

Ingredients:
1 block (450 g) of extra firm tofu or super firm tofu
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp chili powder
Pinch of salt
2 tsp canned coconut milk
1 1/2 tbsp liquid aminos
1 tbsp agave syrup
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp garlic chili paste (optional)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
6 cloves garlic, crushed or minced (or use powder)
1/2 inch ginger, minced (or use powder)
Green Onions
Broccoli
Step One:
Cut up the broccoli & start cooking it!
Remember, use canned coconut milk as your oil base!
I like to put the lid on the pan while I am cooking broccoli to steam it.
Step Two:
Drain your tofu & press it!
Chop it up into small pieces & put it into a bowl!
In that bowl you are going to add 1 tbsp cornstarch,1 tbsp nutritional yeast,
1/2 tsp chili powder, & a pinch of salt
Mix it all up until the tofu is well coated!
**DON’T FORGET TO CHECK ON THE BROCCOLI**
Step Three:
Once your broccoli is cooked & out of the pan you are going to re-coat the pan with canned coconut milk. Let it sizzle and then add in your tofu!
While the tofu is browning you are going to prepare your sauce & start cooking your rice!
RICE: we do 1 cup of jasmine rice for two people
Sauce Ingredients:
1 1/2 tbsp liquid aminos
1 tbsp agave syrup
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp garlic chili paste (optional)
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
6 cloves garlic, crushed or minced (or use powder)
1/2 inch ginger, minced (or use powder)
Mix it all up & take a deep breath, it is almost time to eat!
Once the tofu has browned you are going add in your sauce!
FINAL STEP:
Grab a bowl, put 1/2 a cup of rice in it, broccoli, the tofu & some sliced green onions!
