BBQ Cauliflower Pizza (Gluten, Dairy, Nut Free!)

The number one thing that I miss most ever since finding out all of my allergies is Pizza, I am always craving pizza and having to emit dairy really makes things hard. So, I have decided to go on a mission to find the best vegan pizzas!

BBQ Cauliflower Pizza

First up: Buffalo Cauliflower Pizza

Ingredients:

1/2 head of cauliflower

1 cup BBQ-sauce

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp liquid smoke

Pizza crust (I went with Dr. Schär, you could home make with Bobs Red Mills!)

1 cup unsweetened coconut yogurt

2 cloves of garlic, minced (I did Co-Op Market garlic powder and it gives it the same punch, do 1/4 tsp)

Black Pepper Salt

Directions

Step One:

You are going to want to grab a bowl to mix in your BBQ sauce of choice, paprika, garlic powder & liquid smoke. Mix that all together & then step over to the cutting board.

Step Two:

At the cutting board you are going to take your cauliflower head and you are going to cut half of it into little florets that are good pizza topping size.

Step Three:

Take each of your florets and coat them in the BBQ mixture you have created and then lay them onto a baking pan. Do this until you have enough for your pizza & throw it in the oven at 350 for 10ish minutes!

Step Four:

While the cauliflower is cooking grab another small bowl to create your yogurt garlic sauce. Pour a cup of unsweetened coconut yogurt into your bowl then you are going to add two minced garlic cloves OR 1/4tsp garlic powder (this one specifically, I know it packs a punch that others do not. If you are not using this one, you may want to add more!), salt, pepper & then mix it all up!

Step Five:

Using the rest of your BBQ sauce coat the base of your pizza crust and then add on some spinach! OPE, go check on your cauliflower!! Those are probably done by now! Take the cooked cauliflower and place it on top of your pizza. Once you are good to go slide it back into the oven for however long it says to cook your crust of choice.

Step Six:

Pull out the pizza, drizzle the coconut sauce & throw on some green onions! Enjoy!
