I don’t know about you, but sushi with fish is NOT my thing. I have been told that if it doesn’t have fish then it isn’t sushi and I completely disagree. I come to you with my new favorite crunchy snack and guess what – it’s sushi!
Shredded Red Cabbage Strips (1 cup)
2 Carrots Sliced Thin
Himalayan Salt and Apple Cider Vinegar Nutritional Yeast
Place your sushi mat down on a clean surface.
Next you are going to take a Nori sheet and place it rough side down.
Spread rice evenly onto the sheet leaving 1/2 inch of space at the top
Arrange avocado slices, cabbage, cucumbers and carrots along the middle of the sheet
Gently lift the end of the nori sheet, roll over the veggies – when you get to the end moisten the end of the nori sheet to help with sealing the sushi roll
I like to put liquid aminos and a little wasabi in a bowl to make a yummy spicy dip
